Rola Connect
Rola Connect is our desktop client. Sign in with your Rola account and connect to the proxy IPs you bought directly:
- System Proxy: turn it on with one click, and your browser and any software that supports the system proxy go through the proxy IP you pick.
- Port Forward: forward a proxy to a local port (e.g.
127.0.0.1:8870) so third-party apps (anti-detect browsers, scrapers, scripts, etc.) can connect to it.
Ideal if you want it to just work, without fiddling with settings.
⚠️ Scope of use
Rola Connect is only for accessing cross-border e-commerce websites. It cannot be used to access other overseas sensitive websites.
Get Started in 3 Steps
- Download and install the Rola Connect client.
- Sign in with your Rola account (the same one you use on the web console).
- After signing in you'll see your purchased proxies. Choose System Proxy or Port Forward as needed.
💡 Tip
The proxies shown in the client are the ones you bought in the Rola console (static residential, static datacenter, static IPv6, etc.). They sync automatically after you sign in — nothing to type in.
Which One to Use
| System Proxy | Port Forward | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Routes your browser and software that support the system proxy | Opens the proxy on a local port |
| Who uses it | Browsers and other software that support the system proxy | The specific third-party app you choose |
| How | Just flip a switch | Pick IP → create local forward → fill it into the app |
| Best for | Browsing directly in common apps | Giving one app its own proxy, or running multiple accounts |
- Want to browse cross-border e-commerce sites directly → see System Proxy
- Want to set up a proxy for an anti-detect browser / script / third-party app → see Port Forward
